After more than a decade of relative stability and huge commercial success, Fleetwood Mac entered a period of constant flux during the late '80s. Guitarist Lindsey Buckingham left the band in 1987, and while he was quickly replaced by Rick Vito and Billy Burnette, his departure was only the first of several to take place over the next few years.
As the Eagles continue their 2013 tour, the six studio albums they released on Asylum Records between 1972 and 1979 will soon be available on vinyl once again -- this time in a limited-edition box set called, um, 'The Studio Albums 1972-1979.'

Elton John recently had an appendectomy that forced him to postpone much of his summer tour. But since his new album 'The Diving Board' will be released later this month, the legendary singer-songwriter didn't want to go totally silent. So he'll make his first appearance ever at the Emmy Awards in a couple of weeks.

Call it luck or great planning. All four members of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young will be together again on Oct. 26-27 for the Bridge School Benefit Concert in Mountain View, Calif. The show will no doubt whet the appetite of fans of the band, especially those anticipating a 40th anniversary tour in 2014.
