When I got on Facebook way back in 2004, it was a network created specifically for college students. In order to join, you had to have a college email address. We all migrated over from Myspace and Friendster and left "testimonials" on each other's walls, because we had no idea what we were supposed to do. Today, Facebook is getting really creepy, and so last night I decided to start making some edits.

Big Brother is watching the students of John Jay High School in San Antonio, Texas. They have all been given RFID badges so the administration will "always know where they are in the building."

Facebook Privacy Settings? 13 Million Users Haven't Checked 'Em

A large number of users haven’t tried to access their privacy settings since they signed up with Facebook.

A new report from Consumer Reports found that 13 million users have failed to do just that, despite Facebook’s attempts to update and strengthen their privacy system and settings.

Facebook Announces New Timeline Feature for Profiles [VIDEO]

Despite the whining about the launch of their “top stories” feature this week, Facebook unveiled and even bigger change at the company’s F8 developer conference in San Francisco: Timeline.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that profile pages will soon automatically put photos, videos, status updates and status changes in chronological order. The timeline will also feature a “way back” section, which allows users to insert material from their pre-Facebook days.
