Recently on a Talk Back program featuring Missoula City County Elections Supervisor, one question that wasn't answered is this; can University of Montana students vote on issues that can raise taxes for Missoula residents?
Missoula CPA Patty Lovaas received a letter Friday from the United States Supreme Court, informing her that the Court will hear the lawsuit she has filed on behalf of the citizens of Montana over the increase in property taxes levied in 2008. Lovaas says the chance of an individual citizen’s case filed without an attorney being heard by the Supreme Court is less than 5%.
