Thunderstorm Brings Hail, Strong Wings and Phillipsburg Wildfire [AUDIO]

Monday night's thunderstorms blew through Western Montana bringing hail to the Lolo and Florence area, strong winds to Kalispell and Evergreen and causing problems for firefighters battling a blaze near Phillipsburg.

Sunday Storms Batter Lake County [AUDIO]

National Weather Service forecaster Ryan Leach says Western Montana and Eastern Idaho experienced over a thousand lightning strikes from Sunday’s thunderstorms, however, he says Lake County felt the brunt of the storms.

Thunder And Lightning Storms Blow Through Western Montana [AUDIO]

The first real thunderstorm of the season rolled through the Bitterroot Valley and Missoula on Wednesday afternoon leaving behind hail, downed trees and road signs.

Peter Christian spoke with National Weather forecaster Corby Nickerson who followed the storm today. His comments are attached.
