MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — An attorney for suspended University of Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson has filed a motion asking the state to either turn over numerous records in the case against his client, or for the judge to dismiss the charge of sexual intercourse without consent.

University of Montana Athletic Director Jean Gee confirmed to KGVO News on Friday that former Grizzly quarterback Jordan Johnson will be able to keep his athletic scholarship, should he decide to return to classes in the fall. Gee says the charge of sexual intercourse without consent may have led to Johnson’s suspension from the football team, but his scholarship remains intact.
After the official announcement that Mick Delaney signed a two-year contract to be head coach of the Montana Grizzlies football team, he took a moment to answer questions from reporters.
