The Bitterroot Scottish Irish Festival is August 25-August 27 at the Daly Mansion grounds northeast of Hamilton.

It's one of the best views of the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness in Montana. The Forest Service lookout at the top of St Mary Peak west of Stevensville will be staffed by volunteers this summer. The Bitterroot National Forest and the Selway-Bitterroot Foundation are looking for volunteers who will live at the lookout for up to 4 weeks at a time
