The Montana legislature rushed through HB 73 last week enabling wolf hunters to take up to three wolves and lowers the cost of a nonresident wolf hunting license from $350 to just $50. The wolf hunting season continues in Montana, with 156 total having been harvested so far — 104 by hunters and 52 by trappers.
