Deer and Elk Numbers Down in Final Montana General Hunting Week

Interest in wolf trapping in Montana has surprised officials at Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. Spokesman Ron Aasheim says over 1,700 requests for more information about wolf trapping certification courses have been received, and classes are overflowing.

Eagles and Wolves Were Poisoned

Four wolves and six eagles were found dead in the Bob Marshall Wilderness earlier this year.

Now a reward of $2,500 is being offered for information leading to a conviction in the incident.
