Feds Say Delay Worsened Oil Spill

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Federal investigators say Exxon Mobil Corp.'s delayed response to a pipeline break beneath Montana's Yellowstone River made the spill far worse than it otherwise would have been.

The weekend of July 4th, over 1,000 barrels of crude oil leaked from a buried pipeline under the Yellowstone River in the Laurel, MT, area.
Years of research from Montana State University in Bozeman and Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks will help document any changes to might occur due to the spill
