Tax Day Is Not April 15! [poll]
April 15 can breathe a sigh of relief this year as it is no longer among the most hated days on the calender. The new whipping boy is April 17, which was hand picked by the Internal Revenue Service because April 15 and 16 chickened out. Actually, April 15 lands on a Sunday and April 16 is Emancipation Day (a holiday in Washington D.C. celebrating the District’s emancipation of slaves in 1862).
On a lighter note, if you’re among the few brave souls that have filed taxes you probably already have your tax return. What are you going to do with it?
