About every other year, The Cantrells come to Hamilton and sing at the free concert series Tuesday at 12.

This Tuesday, July 22, Al and Emily will be entertaining the crowd at the Ravalli County Museum lawn from 12 noon to 1 p.m.

The two have been living in Nashville and touring the country, always happy to spend some time in Montana. Last week they were in the Anaconda territory and got a taste of that wildfire smoke we had here in the Bitterroot.

Recently this year, they've been backup band to Emmylou Harris and have performed with Kostas. Of course, many people got their first look at Al and Emily in the movie "A River Runs Through It."

We think they're a perfect match for the Tuesday at 12 concert series, with their folk, jazz and swing music set to a bluegrass style.
