The Four-legged Road Hazards Are Still Out There in the Bitterroot!

The deer and elk that occasionally pick the worst times to cross the highway are still milling about. In fact, the time to expect an elk from a herd such as the one seen last week south of Stevensville along US 93 is when you least expect it.
Even with all the high fences and warning signs, the Bitterroot Valley roads are still seeming magnets for wandering deer and elk…and cattle. So, be aware.
