It's called the Children's Inaugural Ball and will be held the day after the adults' ball in Helena in February.

New Montana Governor Steve Bullock and First Lady Lisa Bullock announced both events this past week.

The Inaugural Ball will be February 9 at 7 p.m. at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall and tickets are required to attend, due to the limited space. They are $25 each and can be purchased starting Monday at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds website ONLY -

The evening will include live music, appetizers and drinks. Suggested attire is business attire or formal/black tie.

There is a two-ticket limit per person. Again, tickets can only be purchased On-line.

The Children's Inaugural Ball, "A Big Sky Carnival" will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. There will be live music by the Whizpops and special guests will be Steve and Lisa Bullock's children - Caroline, Alex and Cameron Bullock. Those attending are asked bring a nonperishable food item for the Montana food banks.
