Motorists are asked to avoid the eastern couple of blocks of Hamilton's Marcus Street Saturday morning, November 10. An empty house across the parking lot from the Bitterroot Brewery will put to the torch by the Hamilton Volunteer Fire department. The house was being torn down and the owner decided to let the local department use the structure for practice. The department Thursday evening worked on how to cut into a house to access the attic and other areas. They also used the dark, empty interior to have firemen enter fully equipped with breathing gear.

Saturday, the Hamilton firemen will be joined by other Bitterroot Valley fire departments as they set numerous fires during the morning - and put them out. However, officials say that the house should be completely burned by about noon.
