The Bitterroot Community Band will have its final bandshell performance of the season at Hamilton's Claudia Driscoll Park Thursday, August 23. The free outdoor concert will start at 7:30 P.M. Director Jeremy Ruff said the band will also be at the Ravalli County Fair for their last summer show. The band will play Saturday, September 1, at 3 p.m.

The show will be on the KLYQ Free Stage, on the main concourse behind the grandstands at the Hamilton fairgrounds. The stage will have hourly entertainment Wednesday through Saturday, starting at 1 p.m. National entertainer Karen Quest and her Cowgirl Tricks will be featured twice a day. She has been a popular feature of the fair in past years. Also on stage will be local talent, including the Country Step Cloggers, 5 Valley Accordions, musical students from Tasha Fain's and Eric Monson's music classes. Another feature will be Steve Weber's presentation "Live Your Life with Gumption" in his tribute to Forrest Gump. That will be Thursday, August 30, at 1 p.m.
