The Hamilton Lady Broncs got some revenge against the Frenchtown Lady Broncs in Class A High School basketball Thursday night at the Hamilton gym, 35 to 33. Hamilton went out to an early lead after one period, ahead by 10 to 2. At the half, Hamilton led by ten, 22 to 12. But Frenchtown edged back in the third quarter and tied the score at the end of regulation 30 to 30. In the 4-minute overtime, the teams played great defense, but Hamilton sneaked ahead and won the game 35 to 33.

The second game of the double-header brought the Frenchtown Broncs onto the floor with Hamilton's Broncs. Frenchtown started off ahead of Hamilton, but by the half, Hamilton trailed by only two, 36 to 34. However, the third quarter saw Frenchtown outscore Hamilton 15 points to 5 points. At the start of the final quarter Frenchtown led 51 to 39. In the final minutes of the game, Hamilton found the basket and closed the gap to within two points with a minute left and, with 30 seconds left, they took the lead, 61 to 60. Then, Frenchtown pulled ahead 62 to 61 with 8 seconds left. With two seconds left, Hunter Omlid made two free throws to win the game 63 to 62.
