Renowned violinist Tim Fain was in the perfect setting for a summer evening concert Thursday, June 22, on the lawn of the Bitterroot Public Library.

About 200 people on blankets and in lawn chairs enjoyed the free presentation of Fain, who was joined on a few songs by his wife, Tasha. The selections included his compositions from films such as "The Black Swan."

In between the music, Tim praised the Hamilton library for its abundance of services and how libraries have always been important to him. In fact, he contributed a portion of his CD sales that evening to the facility.

Both Tim and Tasha are part of the Hamilton Players' stage production "She Loves Me" at the Hamilton Playhouse the next two weekends.
