The major rainstorm kept the opening act of the Jean Matthews Tuesday at 12 free concerts inside June 13.

The jazz stylings of The Absent Wilson Conspiracy filled the community room of Hamilton's City Hall during the noon hour yesterday. The free concerts are usually heard on the lawn of the Ravalli County Museum, a half-block away from City Hall.

In the earliest summers of the 28-year Tuesday series, the community room was the regular "rain day" location. Recently, the second floor of the museum had been the indoors venue. However, a major Nez Perce historical display is in place this summer.
So, if rain happens on future concert days, Tuesday at 12 will move to City Hall this summer.

Next Tuesday, Andrea Harsell will be performing at the museum lawn. Forecasters are predicting sunny skies and near 80-degree temperatures.

By the way, the Absent Wilson Conspiracy will be at Bitterroot Brewing in Hamilton Thursday evening, June 15. They're really good!
