TV History Show Films at Big Hole Battlefield
The television show “American Ride” on BYUtv is filming at the Big Hole National Battlefield this week.
The history show is hosted by Stan Ellsworth, a farmer NFL player and Utah high school history teacher.
He has presented programs on the Civil War, the Constitutional Convention and the Revolutional War, driving through each location on his Harley-Davison motorcycle.
This is the fourth season of the program and Ellsworth and crew are traveling for the next two months in the West, including a stop in the Big Hole.
The show at the battlefield will do principal filming this week for an upcoming season. Currently, on BYU tv, Season Three – featuring the Civil War – will start October 1st. The network is operated by Brigham Young University is is broadcast on cable, satellite and livestreaming.
