Valley Mail Carriers Gather Food – No Postage Required!
The “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive has collected thouands of pounds of food in the Bitterroot Valley in the past few years.
And, this year, the National Association of Letter Carriers are doing it again. Saturday May 12 is the day for you to:
The food will be picked up by your regular letter carrier and some community volunteers. The food collected locally will be distributed to area food banks in Darby, Hamilton and Stevensville.
The UN Postal Service and the National Letter Carriers Association have teamed up with Campbell’s, United Way, Valpack, Feeding America, AFL-CIO and AARP to get more food into the food banks with the food drive.
