The Veterans Day ceremony Monday afternoon at the Ravalli County Museum in Hamilton included a 21-gun salute by the World War I doughboy statue.

Wreaths were laid at the foot of the statue by various veterans organizations. Students from the Hamilton Christian Academy demonstrated the proper folding of an American flag and led the crowd in song.

The ceremonies then moved inside the museum where World War II veterans were recognized, along with a display of 1940s items.

This is the 24th year that museum has held the Veterans Day ceremony.
