Veterans’ Memorial Taking Shape in Hamilton

Honoring all five branches of the military, the Veterans Memorial in Hamilton has been under construction since earlier this year. The initial granite walls have gone up, electricity has been run to the site, the flagpoles are up and it’s already looking impressive.
The memorial is next to Heironymus Park near the Bitterroot River Inn.
Much work remains, and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 938 is accepting donations. They also are accepting names from all wars to be placed on the memorial. For more information, call Bill at (406) 369-2252 or Allen at 381-7899 or Dan at 360-5435.
