Known for her graceful touch on the piano and her smart, memorable lyrics, Vienna Teng will be in Hamilton Saturday. Her music has been described as "chamber-folk" and combines a unique style combining many musical forms.

The Vienna Teng concert is the second of this season's Bitterroot Performing Arts Series at the Hamilton High School Performing Arts Center. The show begins at 8 p.m., according to Series Executive Director Monica Grable.

Monica said the concert will be a great change of pace for people who've been mentally stressed from the the election rhetoric. She said that Vienna includes the audience in her performances. Teng has written songs that have been recorded in a number of critically acclaimed albums, including "Dreaming Through the Noise," and Inland Territory." She's also been a presenter at TEDxBoulder, where the theme was "Truth and Beauty."

Her talent has allowed her to open for artists such as Shawn Colvin, and she's appeared on numerous television and radio broadcasts, including David Letterman.

Grable has always attempted to have the visiting artists share with aspiring musicians in the community and schools. Vienna Teng will have a workshop Saturday at 5 p.m. at Hamilton High School for singers and songwriters.

Tickets are still available at the box office (406) 363-7946. The prices range from $20 to $27.50.
