Wanna See Something Cool??

aurora
The International Space Station took pictures of the Aurora. (NASA/VIMEO)

I love great photos. This time lapse video is a succession of still photos looped together of the Aurora Australis (southern hemisphere) and Aurora Borealis (northern hemisphere). This particular photo is from the Northern Lights of September 11 of this year.
The photos were taken from a new room installed at the station that has a literal wall of windows. If I was at the space station, I’d be camping out there most of the time.
This cries out for a good soundtrack. Enjoy. Click here and expand it full-screen.
