The river is rising.
The hot weekend in Western Montana - with temperatures in the 80s Sunday - will be felt with higher water levels this week.
So far, as of Monday morning, the river has risen to 6.13 feet at the Darby gauge, with flood stage at 7.5 feet.
And, at the Bell Crossing gauge near Victor, the level is up to 9.53 and flood stage is 11 feet.
Forecasters expect the river to reach flood stage at both gauges by the middle of the week.
Our reminders are the same -

    Pay attention to flood warnings.
Have an evacuation plan ready if you are in a flood-prone area.
When you see water flowing over a road, don't drive through it.
Don't get on the river during high water.
