The Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge is known for its large diversity of birds, but there are lots of other ground-hugging animals there.

This week, Bob Danley of the refuge talks about seeing a weasel on one of the trails. They are not often seen, but they do have homes here in the Bitterroot Valley.

A reminder - the refuge is open seven days a week, northeast of Stevensville. Drive on in and bring your camera.
