Western Montana Passes Clobbered by Snow

A late season snowstorm Wednesday, May 17, has caused power outages in areas of western Montana and slick driving conditions in the mountains.

The weather forecast includes warmer temperatures by the end of the week, and a lot less snow.

The pass cameras from Lost Trail Pass at the south end of the Bitterroot Valley and Lolo Pass to the west show the amount of snow that fell overnight.

Drive carefully!
