What Defines a Montana Spring? – Bluebird in a Snowstorm
The bluebirds arrived back in the valley a few weeks ago. They were ready for spring.
However, Mother Nature was ready for more snow May 17. Quite a few of the little flyers were gathered together in the 3-Mile area of the Bitterroot Valley.
The Western Meadowlarks weren’t all that happy, either. And finding a snow-free place to perch seemed to be a problem for this one.
