What Makes a Mom
My youngest boy will be four here in a couple of months. It’s been a few years since there was a baby in my house. I still have a few friends who have babies right now. It’s amazing the little things you forget about having a baby when your babies are all growing up.
A friend of mine recently took to Facebook pleading for advice from other mothers as to how to get her baby to sleep through the night. She just couldn’t take another night being woke every two hours. Any mother can sympathize with her. We remember those sleepless nights and how they seem like they will never end. But sadly they do.
They seem like horrible days, but when you look back on them they are amazing days. Your babies are only babies for a short time. Children bring a beautiful chaos to your life that nothing can. They can bring out the best and the worst in you. They can give you the greatest joy and the greatest sorrow.
As your babies grow into toddlers, then to kids, then to teens and eventually into adults, it can be hard to remember the baby days. How easily we can forget just how our children have changed us and how much better we are because we are mothers. This video is a great reminder of that.
