White Ribbon Week Starts Friday
It’s a strong statement against domestic violence in Ravalli County. White Ribbon Week is happening again this year. It starts with the Report to the Community Luncheon at St Francis Parish Community Center Friday, Oct 7th.
The luncheon includes the a presentation of John Sommers-Flanagan, founder of Families First parenting program in Missoula, words from Corvallis High School youth leaders, and the 12th annual Courage Award to a person who has shown a commitment to make the community safer. There will also be the third annual Ravalli County Coalition Award.
Sunday, “Dancing for Dignity” will start at 5:30 at the Wild Mare in Corvallis with the music of Joan Zen.
The film “Sin By Silence” will be shown at 7pm Tuesday, Oct 11 at the Bitterroot Public Library, and a Community Music and Prayer Service will be Wednesday Oct 12 at the Hamilton Assembly of God Church at 6:30pm.
