The Hamilton School Board has selected four finalists for the position of School Superintendent.
The four candidates are:

  • Robert Conners - currently the Stevensville Junior High principal and High School vice principal. He also taught in Laurel. He has a Bachelors degree and a Master Degree from University of Montana.
  • Thomas Korst - currently the Assistant Superintendent of Havre Montana Public Schools. He has been a high school principal and a junior high principal at Seeley Swan. He has a Bachelors degree from Western Montana College and a Masters degree from University of Montana.
  • Robert Lewandowski - currently the Superintendent of St. Ignatius School District. Has been Superintendent in Meeteetse, Wy. He has a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree from Chadron State College.
  • Daniel Nicklay - currently principal at Coeur d"Alene Charter Academy in Idaho. He has also been a teacher, Dean of Students and Vice Principal there. He has a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree from the University of Montana.
    The board will invite the finalists to Hamilton January 20 for a tour of facilities and to meet the staff, with a public meeting from 5pm to 7pm that evening at the Hamilton High School commons, and the board will interview them on January 21.
