You Can Never Be Too Safe
The Ravalli County Prevention Coalition is bringing together a gaggle of groups for the first-ever “Life Safety Days” at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds in Hamilton April 30.
The event from 9am to 3pm includes everything from self defense tactics to car seat safety. With free admission, the whole family can learn from Life Safety Days.
KLYQ will be helping with a demonstration of emergency services from the Your Choice program, which is usually staged for high school students. The adults will be able to see how a drunk driving car accident is handled by emergency responders – everyone from EMT and police to air transport of the severely injured.
Also, the DEA Prescription “Take Back” program will there from 10am-2pm, so you can get rid of used and old prescription drugs from your medicine cabinet. Admit it, you don’t even know why some of those pills were prescribed!
