Music will be heard throughout the Ravalli County Museum in Hamilton Friday night, December 6th. "An Acoustic Christmas" with Pinegrass musicians Britt Arnesen and Jack Mauer will raise funds for the Ravalli County Museum and Historical Society. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the music starts about 6:30 p.m., featuring guitar, banjo, dobro, and mandola with a broad variety of old-time and contemporary sounds. Admission is $10 for members and $12 for the general public, Ages 9-17 are $5, and those 8 and under are free.

It's also the time to check your bid on the silent auction of the decorated Christmas Trees in the main display room (see photos below). There's a fun variety - from traditional to patriotic and themes you've never thought of. The trees have been decorated by local businesses, organizations and individuals: American Legion Post #47, Cardinal Properties, Kielian DeWitt, Paula Frickey, DeeDee Armstrong, Tamar Stanley, Dr. Anon-y-mous, Cliff’s Corral, Outlook Business Services, Lambros Realty, Greener Montana Properties, United Country Real Estate and Berkshire Hathaway.
