When the clouds cleared Tuesday morning, March 15, we were reminded that it's not spring yet in Montana.

The Bitterroot Valley received rain earlier this week and snow Tuesday morning, causing some slick surprises on area roads.

As usual, the snow from our late winter snowstorms melts quickly when the sun comes out and the robins start looking for worms again.

By the way, spring officially arrives this weekend, but we may have another minor snowfall before then.
