Hamilton has a new City Court Judge. Ryan Archibald was sworn-in by the man he is replacing - Michael Reardon. In a short ceremony July 7th, Archibald became Hamilton's new judge in the new City Court courtroom. The facility was included in the new Justice Center on West Main in Hamilton - the former National Guard Armory. Reardon, who retired this month, oversaw some of the improvements to the new facility, including better recording equipment for the official records.

Archibald was nominated by Mayor Dominic Farrenkopf's Selection Committee and was appointed in a unanimous vote by Hamilton's City Council July 16. The Justice Center contains his courtroom, the City Attorney's office and the Hamilton Police Department.
