As part of its celebration of 45 years in business, Hamilton's Chapter One Book Store has loaded the month of May with author presentations. It started with Pete Fromm Tuesday, reading from his new book "A Job You Mostly Won't Know How to Do." Wednesday, May 8, Bryce Andrews will read from his "Down from the Mountain" book at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 9, also at 6 p.m., Marc Johnson will coming to Hamilton to talk about his look at legendary Montana politician Burton K. Wheeler. The book is "Political Hell-Raiser" and provides details of Wheeler's career, focusing on the 1920s through the 1940s. Friday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. the kids are included with V.K. Finnish signing the latest in her series, "The Discoveries of Arthur Grey."

Later in the month, Virginia Reeves will be on hand with her new book, "The Bevahior of Love," set in the Boulder, Montana, mental institution. On May 25, the Chapter One Book Club will be Skyping Matthew Sullivan, author of "Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore." Mara Luther of Chapter One said that tickets are now being sold for a special evening with award-winning C.J.Box, author of mystery novels including the Joe Pickett series, who will be at the Hamilton Middle School auditorium August 21.
