You don't have to be a cowboy or cowgirl to enjoy the Bitterroot Cowboy Ball.

For the fourth year, the Ravalli County Fairgrounds is presenting the Cowboy Ball as a fundraiser for projects involving the rodeo area at the fairgrounds. And it's scheduled as a great "date night" on February 14, Valentine's Day.

The First Interstate Event Center (with its new paved parking lot) will open at 6 p.m. and the admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and free for children under 5 years old. If you want to buy a table for you and your friends or (new this year) a "table for two," call the Fair Office at 363-3411.

A new band will take the stage this year at the Hamilton event. 'Nashville 406' will have dancers filling the dance floor.

As always, food and drink can be purchased at the center. There will be a live auction with County Commissioner Ray Hawk. The silent auction will include the popular bucket items. And, the "calf bingo" event is returning.
