The annual Science Olympiad at the Montana State University campus in Bozeman is Tuesday, November 26, and a number of teams from the Bitterroot Valley will be there.
Competition includes Middle School and High School teams in knowledge tests in astronomy, anatomy, meteorology and chemistry, while others work on free flight airplanes and mousetrap-powered vehicles. Suzi Taylor, director of MSU Science Math Resource Center, said 120 teams from 97 Montana schools have signed up.

From Ravalli County, middle school teams include Hamilton, Corvallis and Florence-Carlton. The high school teams are Hamilton, Corvallis, Florence-Carlton and Victor. The competition has been growing in popularity through the years.
