The unbeaten Dillon Beavers beat Hamilton's Broncs in a semi-final game Friday night in the Western Class A basketball tournament. The final score was Dillon 49 Hamilton 28.

That takes Dillon into the Championship game against Polson at 8:30 Saturday night.

For Hamilton, both the Broncs and Lady Broncs will play at the Hamilton Middle School gym Saturday morning in loser-out action.

The Hamilton Lady Broncs will play Dillon's girls at 9 a.m. and the Broncs face cross-valley rival Stevensville at 10:45 a.m. Both games will be on the air at KLYQ 1240 AM and www.klyq.com.

Winners will advance to the Consolation matchups Saturday afternoon, and more importantly, they will automatically "punch their ticket" to the State tournaments.

The big winner Friday was the Corvallis Lady Blue Devils, who are in the Saturday Championship game against Columbia Falls at 6:30 p.m. Corvallis defeated Dillon's girls 52 to 44.

Friday saw the last game in the tournament for the Corvallis Blue Devils, losing to Stevensville 43 to 36 and the Stevensville Lady Yellowjackets were eliminated by losing to Frenchtown 42 to 27.
