Now a reward of $2,500 is being offered for information leading to a conviction in the incident.
In May, the animals were found in the area of the Big Prairie Ranger Station. Since then, lab tests have been done and is has been determined that they were poisoned.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service are continuing their investigation and have asked for the public's help. There are two phone numbers you can use to call in a tip. They are (406) 329-3000 and 1-800-847-6668.
