Elvin Bishop Comes Back to Montana for Sold Out Show
The concert was sold out almost as soon as it was announced last year. Elvin Bishop and Charlie Musselwhite will appear together at the Hamilton Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. Saturday night, January 12, as part of the Bitterroot Performing Arts Series. Elvin Bishop was a favorite at the legendary Aber Day Keggers in Missoula in 70s. Musselwhite is a blues virtuoso on harmonica.
Laurie Ruffner of the Performing Arts Series said the waiting list for possible tickets is long and the box office has more information. Check their website. She also said this concert will have no intermission. The music will start and keep on going until the end of the performance. She mentioned that the upcoming Judy Collins performance will also be presented without an intermission. And for those who may desire a little ear protection, there will be some available at the door as long as supply lasts.
