Come for the clinic, stay for the game. It promises to be a cool time for kids and parents alike.

The University of Montana Department of Athletics will be hosting a National Girls and Women in Sports Day clinic this Saturday, February 8, prior to the Lady Griz basketball game against Idaho.

The festivities, for youth of all ages, will take place between noon and 1 p.m. in the West Auxiliary Gym of the Adams Center.

Athletes and coaches from Montana’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, golf and track and field programs will be on hand to run activities and sign posters.

Members of the cheer and dance teams will be at the clinic as well.

Kids ages 12 and under who attend the clinic will get free general admission to the Montana-Idaho game that tips off at 2 p.m. And parents of attendees can purchase half-price general admission tickets for the Lady Griz/Idaho game at the clinic.
