The Hamilton Broncs came back strong Friday morning in loser-out action at the Western Divisional Class A tournament in Ronan and stayed alive in the competition. They went out to an early lead against Dillon 14 to 6 after the first quarter and added to that lead in the second quarter, leading 29 to 13 at the half. The Broncs continued their dominance over the Beavers in the third quarter with a 45 to 24 score into the final period, winning the game by 20 points, Hamilton 52 Dillon 32.

Hamilton has another morning game Saturday at 9:30 a.m. The winner of that game will be in the 3:30 p.m. consolation game with a distinct possibility of going to the State Class A tournament in Billings March 12. Meanwhile, the Lady Broncs will play Frenchtown in a semi-final at around 8:30 p.m. Friday, following the Corvallis-Whitefish semi-final at about 6:30 p.m. The tournament has been running behind schedule Friday, so those start times may be much later. KLYQ will carry the Lady Broncs game tonight.
