After a day of rain, the sun was shining on the Hamilton Homecoming Parade and that was a good omen for the Friday night Bronc football game against Butte Central.

The Broncs defeated the Butte team by a score of 48 to 29 at Haynes Field. The Broncs scored first, leading by two touchdowns during the first half, before Butte came back and tied the score, but Hamilton scored again and led 27-20 at the half.

Scoring was in Hamilton's favor in the second half and the final score was Hamilton 48 Butte Central 29. The game, with an extended halftime, finished just before 10 p.m.

Next Friday, Hamilton finishes up the regular season by hosting Whitefish at 7 p.m. and we'll have that game on KLYQ 1240 AM and on klyq.com.
