The Hamilton and Corvallis High School basketball teams had a Tuesday night matchup, with the boys at the Hamilton gym and the girls in Corvallis. The action was exciting between the Bitterroot Valley rivals.

In the Broncs-Blue Devil game, Hamilton took an early lead in the low-scoring game and kept the margin at the half, leading by seven points, 16 to 9. They stayed ahead until the very end, when in the fourth quarter, Corvallis crept closer and closer, scoring 21 points in that quarter alone. But, with a final surge, Hamilton won the game 43 to 38.

Meanwhile, The Lady Blue Devils had a commanding lead through their game against the Lady Broncs, at times leading by 10 points. Then, just like the boys game, in the final minutes the Lady Broncs came back and where they were trailing 33-23 in the third quarter, they kept scoring, and at the final buzzer were only two points from tying the game. Corvallis Lady Blue Devils won with a 45 to 43 score.
