It was third weekend for the Hamilton Farmers Market this year. The crowd was smaller than usual on a sunny May Saturday morning, and with social distancing, there were no hugs and handshakes happening and there was no live music. Lots of conversation amongst the public - at a respectable distance. The fashion trend for the vendors was a facemask and gloves. However, a good portion of the annual vendors were back in their booths and sales were being made May 16 at the Hamilton Farmers Market on Bedford and South 3rd. There were brisk sales of local vegetables and produce and the coffee tasted good, too. The market is scheduled to continue each Saturday through the summer from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
