The Spirit Week bonfire lit up the neighborhood by Hamilton High School Wednesday evening as Homecoming celebrations continued. The fire, controlled by the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department, was lit at sunset, following a free dinner for students from the Hamilton Booster Club. The blaze was in an empty lot next to the Bitterroot Aquatic Center on Kurtz Lane.

The Hamilton Homecoming Parade will be Friday, September 27, at 4 p.m. The parade can be viewed on Main Street and State Street as the student floats and marching groups begin and end at Haynes Field. Following the parade, the Booster Club will have a tailgate barbeque with hamburgers and hot dogs preceding the Friday night Class A football game between Hamilton and Frenchtown at the new Hamilton stadium. That game will be broadcast on KLYQ 1240 AM radio, and on the free KLYQ app on your cellphone (just check your app store).
