Some have called the 1970s the decade of the big budget disaster movies. It's well past time to spoof those exciting films and that's what the musical play "Disaster!" accomplishes. The Hamilton Players are known for producing great comedic performances, and this is one of those efforts - which also includes a great gob of 70s pop songs when you least expect them. The cast includes Edward Ryan and Arthur Ryan, Regan Farley, Tasha Fain, Austin Athman, Mara Luther, Rich Thomas, Dara Wilson, Tamsen Mitchell, Steve Winkler, Melissa Beck and a couple dozen more "doomed" patrons of a floating casino that is caught in an earthquake ... and tidal wave ... and ... well, you get the picture.

Admission is $18 and the show opens Friday, June 14, with three weekends of fun. Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. A schedule change for the weekend of June 27 - the show will play on Thursday, June 27, and no show on Friday, June 28. Get your boarding pass for "Disaster!" Tickets at Hamilton Players website and at the box office - 375-9050.
