Halloween is here and Hamilton has some fun features for the kids and adults. The Hamilton Downtown Association has a mini kid's parade at about 4 p.m. from 4th and Main, by the U.S. Post Office. The kids walk in a group for about a block and then they spread out, trick or treating at many Hamilton businesses. At about the same time, people start arriving at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds for the annual Harvest Party, as others hit the treat "magnets" in Hamilton - South 3rd and 4th Streets and also the Stonegate and the Arbors neighborhoods on the east side of town.

A new addition this year is Hamilton's City Hall on the 200 block of South 2nd, where Mayor Farrenkopf will be greeting folks, and providing a place to warm up and use of the public rest rooms. By the way, next week, as you look at the extra candy around the house, don't forget the candy "buy back" Nov. 4-7 at CanyonView Dental, 710 North 1st, with the candy they collect being sent overseas to our military.
