Friday, the most famous matchmaker in Broadway theater history will be gracing the stage of the Hamilton Playhouse as "Hello, Dolly!" begins its three-weekend run. It has everything you like in a great musical - comedy, romance and memorable music. The tunes include "Put On Your Sunday Clothes," "Before the Parade Passes By," "Elegance," and, of course, "Hello, Dolly!." Julie Fryberger is Dolly Gallagher-Levi and is supported by an energetic cast in the play that presents the romantic and comic situations of the turn-of-the-century matchmaker - the "woman who arranges things."

It's the first time that the Hamilton Players have presented "Hello, Dolly!" and is this year's first summer production with plays June 15-17, June 22-24 and June 29-July 1. The Friday and Saturday night shows will start at 8 p.m. and the Sunday matinees will begin at 2 p.m. Tickets are available online at the Hamilton Players website or in Hamilton at the theater box office Wednesday through Friday afternoons.

Director is Gina Collins with music direction by Mara Luther. The show is based on the play "The Matchmaker" by Thornton Wilder and is performed by special arrangement with Tams-Witmark Music Library. The play won 10 Tony awards when it was first produced in the 60s and has been through at least four Broadway revivals. Hamilton show sponsors are TrailWest Bank and Paul & Ann Thomas. Hamilton Players season sponsors are Montana Cultural Trust and Roaring Lion Ranch.
